Mortal Kombat 11 ushers in yet another successful installment in the long-running franchise.
The latest game in the long-running fighting series, features new characters and an engaging story mode set to begin a new chapter for the franchise.
Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
It is the eleventh main installment in the Mortal Kombat video game series and a sequel to 2011’s Mortal Kombat, which takes place after the events of Mortal Kombat 3 (the most recent game prior to this one).
The Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting game: better graphics, better audio and a few great characters, with movement rewards for those who master them.
It gives the fans what they want, but expects them to work for it. The new characters are great, but less “Mortal Kombat” than fans will want; this is a good sign of where the franchise will go in the next year.
The fighting game was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
As such it has been released as part of the cross-platform “Fighters Pass” program which includes special character skins, cosmetic items and more.
In this Mortal Kombat 11 kritic, we can add that the gameplay is similar to previous titles that focus on one-on-one fighting with supernatural powers and environments pulling them back when they get too far away from their opponent or surroundings.
The roster of characters includes familiar faces like Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Raiden, who have been around since the original game first launched way back in 1992.
There are also a number of new players joining the fray including Geras from Soul Calibur alongside a few others.
As far as graphics go, Mortal Kombat 11 is at the top of the game. The graphics and animations are absolutely stunning, even on consoles.
This is an especially big deal considering the fact that Mortal Kombat X was heavily criticized for its poor visuals compared to previous games in the series.
