1994 memories
Killer Instinct is a multimedia franchise by Rare that started off in 1994 with a 2D fighting game that was released as an arcade title and then ported to the Super Nintendo in 1995.
The franchise has since been rebooted as Killer Instinct 2013 for the Xbox One. This review will cover the original arcade machine.
The arcade design
The Killer Instinct Arcade1up Machine is an arcade style machine with a metal construction, metal joystick controls and buttons, coin slot, along with a 35″ HD LCD screen. This machine plays over 100 arcade games including classic games such as PacMan and Galaga.
This is a great arcade machine, slightly smaller than the original. The graphics are great and it plays just like the original.
Look and feel
I was very happy with the quality and sound of this arcade machine. Video games look and play great on this unit. I have it in my own home. The speakers are very loud and sounds great. I am quite satisfied with this product!
The Killer Instinct Arcade1up Cabinet is a perfect arcade cabinet for home use and gaming. as you would expect from a very high end commercial product, the machine is built to last and will look fantastic in your home or gaming room, equally at home in your lounge or kitchen!
This is a full size, dedicated arcade machine (no PC’s here!) with original arcade quality hardware. The build quality, artwork and spec are all superb.

Joyful moment
It is really really fun this game. If you have any friends that like killer instinct for Xbox one then they will love this arcade machine.
For me personally, I never played the Xbox one version, but I loved the original killer instinct arcade game and this is a bit better.
It still doesn’t look nearly as good as the new fighting games. But keep in mind there are people who can do some of these complicated moves by looking at a picture of the move command and then just trying it…
But that’s hard to do. This machine IS worth it’s price and I’m glad I bought it
