Fair Price

This is such a rad arcade cabinet and it only costs $500 so that’s huge. The cabinet itself looks awesome and features original art from the time period which is awesome. I’m also pretty thrilled that this has a joystick instead of an 8-way stick too since it’s very accurate.

Bringing back old memories

Street Fighter II is one of the most important arcade games ever made and helped cement competitive arcade gaming as a real thing. Arcade 1Up’s latest cabinet lets you relive the glory days, but how well does it bring Street Fighter into your own home, and is it more than just a nostalgia play.

If you grew up in the ’90s, chances are you spent hours of your youth huddled around a grimy arcade cabinet, only to hand over wad after wad of money to achieve either glory or simply one extra life. While the days of local quarter-cramming arcades have long since past, those pining for their youthful heyday can now bring home

Street fighter arcade 1up is probably the most highly anticipated cabinet since the original release of arcade 1up machines. When this game was announced I was very excited and at release it was sold out everywhere almost immediately.

Friends play time

You can play on your own or invite your friends over to play against each other. Arcade 1UP’s Street Fighter Home Arcade is a full-sized cabinet that comes loaded with some problems but will bring back some happy memories of the arcades of year.

The machine itself is well built with authentic artwork and a 17” lcd screen. The controls are pretty good as well with 4 action buttons on each side and a 6 button layout. Test your fighting skills against friends and family with this Street Fighter machine. Featuring a 17” Color LCD screen, this machine is arcade-style gaming at home.

Front art

The best part about Arcade 1Up’s new Street Fighter arcade cabinet is what’s most obvious: It looks like a Street Fighter arcade cabinet. It has the classic Capcom logo on top. There’s a giant scene from Street Fighter 2 showing Ken, Guile and Zangief all posturing and grimacing on the front art.

And inside, you get versions of Capcom’s classic fighting games that are close enough to arcade-perfect to satisfy long-time fans who have been longing for something like this for years.

It’s a fun call back to something we all loved as kids but lacks the depth and breadth of options that modern gamers would desire.
